She's been stalked by the group's hardcore fans and looks really stressed out by this. Her half-brother eight years her senior committed suicide a year before the game's events after he was wrongly accused of sexual harassment and fired from his teaching job. When she came to collect his body from the police morgue she realised she didn't hate him despite his repulsive outward appearance, on the inside he was enthusiastic about his job and was a decent person who never stopped reminding Mei to treasure her friends and pursue her dreams.As there were too many people responsible for her brother's suicide and resorting to violence was inefficient, she decided to use unorthodox methods to get even with those who had a hand in her brother's bullying, harassment and eventual suicide. She is the central figure in this game as her plans for revenge are directly responsible for the manager's grief with shoplifters, Yoshimi's bullying at the workplace and Asuka's precarious family finances.She had hoped the protagonist would rape her group leader after she was caught shoplifting, and to increase the chances of this happening she was willing to shoplift and offer her own body as bait to the manager. Unfortunately he had no interest in having sex with "dolls" as the group leader had undergone extensive plastic surgery.
