The game is based on the manga storyline of Fullmetal Alchemist, but the plot is set 5 years after the failed transmutation of their mother and Ed has finally accomplished restoring his brother's body. Ed's life seems perfect with a happy life in Central, living with Al and being promoted to Colonel and secretary of the Fuhrer and with Roy as the new General. But life soon takes a new turn...
